From the Lord Mayor of Melbourne
Melbourne is the foodie capital of Australia. Our hospitality scene is constantly evolving to embrace new dining options including food vans, pop-up cafes and festivals. The Age Good Food Month presented by Citi celebrates our city’s wide spectrum of dining choices, from tasty takeaways to delicious delicacies and the ritual of sharing a meal with family and friends.
This month, we will celebrate food in Melbourne at venues, events and parties for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Last year the first Night Noodle Market was a resounding success. This year, Birrarung Marr will host the festival which includes stalls selling mouth-watering Asian food as well as bars, DJs and light shows. The City of Melbourne is proud to support The Age Good Food Month presented by Citi and sponsor the Night Noodle Markets.
I hope you enjoy this month of culinary celebrations.
